Privacy Policy

Effective Date: December 1, 2025

Sigilite Tech LLC (“Sigilite,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of information accessed, collected, and processed through the Sigilite platform (the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy describes how Sigilite collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the Platform.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to visitors to the Sigilite website (sigilitetech.com), users of the Platform, and agencies and organizations accessing the Platform, and to information processed through both the website and the Platform. It describes how Sigilite handles website information and Platform information; where the distinction matters, the applicable section identifies which it addresses.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information that is collected, controlled, or processed solely by third-party systems, services, or providers that may be integrated with or accessible through the Platform. Such third-party systems are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

2. Information We Collect

Sigilite may collect and process information necessary to operate and provide the Platform.

Sigilite may collect account and user information, including names, email addresses, contact information, user credentials, authentication data, user roles, agency affiliations, and access permissions.

Sigilite may collect system and usage data, including login activity, timestamps, IP addresses, device information, system interactions, and audit logs.

Sigilite may process data provided by or on behalf of an agency, including data uploaded, transmitted, or collected through the Platform (“Contributed Data”). This may include radio-frequency data (“RF Data”) and geolocation data (“Geolocation Data”) where such systems are deployed.

Sigilite may process data made available through the Platform from other authorized participants within the Sigilite Network (“Network Data”).

Sigilite may also process data provided by third-party providers and made available through the Platform on a licensed or integrated basis (“Licensed Data”).

3. Use of Information

Sigilite uses information to operate, maintain, and improve the Platform and to support authorized use by agencies and users.

Information may be used to authenticate users, manage access controls, process and analyze data within the Platform, and facilitate data sharing within the Sigilite Network.

Sigilite may use information to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, monitor system performance, and ensure security, compliance, and auditability of the Platform.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Sigilite may share information in connection with the operation of the Platform.

Contributed Data may be made available within the Sigilite Network to other authorized agencies and approved partners for lawful investigative and public safety purposes, in accordance with applicable agreements and the Sigilite Platform Terms.

Sigilite may disclose information to third-party service providers that support Platform operations, including providers of hosting, infrastructure, analytics, and related services. Such providers are authorized to use information only as necessary to perform services on behalf of Sigilite.

Certain data available through the Platform may originate from third-party providers and may be subject to additional restrictions or requirements imposed by those providers.

Sigilite may disclose information where required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Sigilite, its users, or others.

5. Data Ownership and Control

Sigilite does not claim ownership of data provided by agencies. Agencies retain ownership of their Contributed Data.

Sigilite processes data in accordance with the applicable agreements, including the Sigilite Platform Terms. Rights and responsibilities relating to data are governed by such agreements.

6. RF Data and Sensitive Information

The Platform may process RF Data and Geolocation Data, which may be considered sensitive or regulated information.

Sigilite does not determine whether the collection or use of such data is lawful and does not provide legal advice regarding such matters. Agencies are solely responsible for determining whether they have lawful authority to collect, access, use, store, or share such data, including obtaining any required warrants, permissions, or authorizations.

Agencies are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies governing the use of RF Data and Geolocation Data.

7. Data Security

Sigilite implements commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information processed through the Platform.

While Sigilite takes reasonable steps to protect information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Sigilite does not guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

Sigilite retains information for as long as necessary to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, and support operational, security, and audit requirements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information and applicable requirements.

9. Third-Party Systems

The Platform may include integrations with third-party systems and services. Sigilite does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices or data handling of such third-party systems.

Users and agencies should review applicable third-party terms and policies where relevant.

10. User Responsibilities

Users and agencies are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of access credentials, ensuring that access is limited to authorized users, and using the Platform in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

11. Website Visitors and Contact Forms

The Sigilite website (sigilitetech.com) collects information that visitors voluntarily submit through contact and demonstration-request forms, including name, agency or organization, role or title, email address, telephone number, and the content of the message. Sigilite uses this information to respond to inquiries, scope potential engagements, and communicate about its products and services.

When visitors access the website, Sigilite and its website host may automatically collect standard technical information, including IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and pages visited, for the purposes of operating, securing, and improving the website.

12. Cookies and Analytics

The website may use cookies and similar technologies to enable core functionality, remember preferences, and measure website performance and usage. These may include essential cookies required for security and basic site operation, performance cookies used to analyze how the site is used, functionality cookies that store preferences, and, where applicable, advertising or analytics cookies used for measurement or retargeting.

Most browsers allow visitors to refuse or delete cookies through their settings, and visitors may use opt-out tools such as those offered by the Network Advertising Initiative or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Disabling cookies may affect certain website features. Sigilite does not sell personal information collected through the website.

13. Your Privacy Choices

You may request to review, update, or delete account or contact information you have provided by emailing info@sigilitetech.com. Where information is retained to meet legal, contractual, security, or operational requirements, Sigilite may retain it as permitted or required by law, and residual copies may remain in backups or archives.

14. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information Sigilite collects and how it is used; to request access to or deletion of their personal information; to know the categories of parties with whom personal information is shared; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email info@sigilitetech.com. Sigilite will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, generally within forty-five (45) days of verifying your identity. Sigilite does not sell personal information and therefore does not maintain a “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” mechanism.

15. European and United Kingdom Residents (GDPR/UK GDPR)

Where applicable, Sigilite processes personal information under legal bases including performance of a contract, consent, and legitimate interest. Individuals in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom have the right to access and correct their personal information; to request deletion or restriction of processing; to object to processing; to request portability of their data; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, email info@sigilitetech.com.

16. Children’s Privacy

The website and Services are not directed to, and are not intended for, individuals under sixteen (16) years of age. Sigilite does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Sigilite, please contact info@sigilitetech.com so that it can be removed.

17. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because no common industry standard for Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals has been established, the website does not currently respond to DNT browser signals. Sigilite honors recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (“GPC”), to the extent required by applicable law.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Sigilite may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on the Sigilite website and will include a revised effective date.

Continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
